Stuffed Kesari Poori
2012-06-29Kesari 1 cup
All purpose flour / maida – 2 cups
Salt a pinch
Oil to deep fry
Water to make dough
Mix flour, water, salt and a tsp of oil and make a dough ( like chapati dough) let it sit for 30 mins to 1 hour. Knead it well after an hour.
In a frying pan heat oil while you prep the other ingredients.
Make golf ball sized balls of Kesari ( please check the Kesari recipe )
Make lemon sized balls of the dough and spread it like chapati. Put the Kesari balls in it and fold it into a purse and pat it into a small patty.
Deep fry it until golden
Serve it with a little honey drizzled on top.
