Coconut Chutney

Freshly Grated coconut – 1 cup or Coconut milk – 1 cup

Garlic – 1 big clove

Roasted split chick peas [Pottu kadalai] – ½ cup

Green Chilly – 5

Curry leaves – 10

Mustard Seeds – 1 Tea spoon

Salt – As per your Taste

 

 

 

  1. In a blender add Grated coconut, garlic, roasted split chick peas, greenchilly, salt and 1 table spoon water.
  2. Grind it into a fine paste by adding water till you reach the requiredconsistency.
  3. For garnish: Fry curry leaves and mustard seeds.

 

This chutney can be served with Dosai or Idly.
